Biography

Born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to an educator mother and a father who managed a Luby’s cafeteria, Dr. Prock learned the value of hard work early on. Her family moved to Brownsville, Texas when she was two, where she grew up immersed in the vibrant, diverse culture of a border town.

Achievements at a Glance

Dr. Prock left Texas to attend Yale University, earning a degree in the History of Science and Medicine and completing a thesis on the relationship between colonialism and medicine.
She continued her education at Dartmouth Medical School, earning her M.D. while studying amid New Hampshire’s beautiful landscape.
She then completed six years of plastic surgery training at the nationally top-ranked University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Plastic Surgery program, known for its exceptional focus on aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Prock is thrilled to have joined Dr. Cabret’s elite medical team and looks forward to making a home in beautiful Lakeway, Texas.

An Accomplished Young Newlywed

Dr. Prock married Scott Nelson in June 2025. Scott works in oil and gas investment and has patented several water-filtration devices developed in response to the Flint water crisis. The two met in Dallas through mutual friends and have been inseparable since.

Their household includes four lively pets—Maltese mixes Brad and Chad, and Labradoodles Bonnie and Clyde. They were married on White Rock Lake, surrounded by close family and friends.
